His
Matt
Best
Man
Matt Salmon (Best Man) - Matt is my cousin but we’ve developed an awesome friendship over the years. We seem to always be tangled up in some religious business, as Matt was my confirmation sponsor and I am his son’s godfather. Matt’s pastimes include saying things backwards, constantly getting Jamie pregnant, making lists of things he is good/bad at, not paying attention to things, (self-proclaimed) never being hungover a single day in his life, having a (self-proclaimed) steel wall of an immune system, hating coffee, hating technology even if it will make his life easier, enjoying the sights and sounds of Washington D.C.* (only between 8am and 7pm EST), and making the fire in his living room “too hottttttt” for Liza.

Austin
Austin “BTC” Wright - I, Andrew Donato, am going to say something that I never thought I would say when I met Austin almost 13 years ago. “I should’ve listened to Austin.” Particularly, I should’ve listened to him when he told me about Bitcoin in 2010. Austin is a ride or die friend and a resource to anyone looking to understand complicated technology concepts. Editor’s Note: As someone who has experience in this area, if you ask Austin a technical question, he will most likely give you the answer. However, be prepared to feel horrible when he eventually tells you “Listen man, 30 minutes of research on Google would’ve gotten you the answer. Gotta learn on your own."

Shaun
Shaun “Slammer” Salmon - Shaun is my cousin and Matt’s older brother. He lives in Boston with his wife and 3 kids. From Boston visits to countless hours spent around picnic tables at GBF, there’s never a dull moment when Slammer is around. Shaun (and his wife Cara) served our country in the Army, for which Liza and I are eternally grateful.

Duke
Duke “Duke” Claghorn - I met Duke just about 3 years ago. My existence was acknowledged by Duke about 6 months ago, so I’m calling that a win! All kidding aside, I’m pumped to have Duke be part of our day, and am even more excited that he is giving me one of the coolest gifts Ill ever receive: a brother.

Emil
Emil “Brojier” Gondos - I hired Emil at Booker to be a sales associate. Little did I know that I’d find a true friend in the process. Personally I am not sure what has been more fun; abusing Emil as an entry-level sales rep or the friendship that has grown over the years that followed. Psyched to have Bruiser’s dad as part of the squad on our big day. Editor’s Note: It’s worth mentioning that Emil is a Phillies fan, an organization that fostered the development of the biggest scumbag in sports named Chase Utley. I do not count this against him, although it is a character flaw.

Brian
Brian “The Professor” Knox - They say never trust a bald guy, but The Professor is the exception to that rule. I met Brian when I worked for Booker Software, and we have become close friends ever since. If you ever need a Florida guy, Brian is your man. Everyone needs a Florida expert in their lives. Follow The Professor on Instagram for motivation and useful tidbits, endearingly littered with grammatical mistakes @Professor_Knox.

Jamie
Jamie “James” Conner - Fun fact: Jamie originally hated the name “James,” but we called him that for so long that he has accepted it. I lived with Jamie in college, and then again for a few years in Astoria. Jamie is a high-powered attorney, a trusted friend, and a formidable late-night political debate sparring partner.

Andy
Andrew “Jorts” Solano - I met Andrew in freshman year at Marist. I challenge anyone to find a more caring, genuine, and generous friend and advisor. I also challenge those same people to find a bigger lover of jorts, gummy worms/sharks, and steady upward financial growth. I love Andrew like a brother and I speak for both me and Liza when I say we are so pumped to have Andrew as a part of our special day, and our lives. Editor’s Note: Shout out to Andrew’s better thirds, his wife Jill and out-of-this-world cute daughter Lia. Love you guys too!

Ivy
Edward “Ivy” Perkins - I met Ivy at Booker as well. Those who know Ivy know he is always on his vest behavior and is one heck of a friend. Ivy is my resident “anything below 14th Street” advisor, and we have spent endless hours at dive bars conjuring up ways to get rich without actually doing any work, lamenting an absurd process breakdown we witnessed that day, and him asking me if I listen to Pardon My Take (which I don’t) or if I’ve seen The Other Guys (which I haven’t).

Josh
Josh “Lights Out” Pope - What can be said about Josh that hasn’t been said already? Nothing. Best I can do is provide meaningful hashtags that most likely only he will understand. #SkinnyGirlSaturdays #BrosInBeantown #MeatSuiteMarathon #BROpocalypse #BlueLightningAndTheThundercat #TeamJProolz

Reid
Reid “Reno” Noble - Reid and I met Freshman year at Marist. We lived on the same floor, and I basically lived in his room because my actual roommate shunned me because I snored. Yes, Reid was the only person I could find that could fall asleep with me snoring in the same room. That or he is the only person who didn’t complain. Either way, I knew Reid was someone I’d be friends with for a very long time. I can always tell when Liza really likes someone by the amount of times she giggles around that person. Reid is one of those people. Things I love about Reid: He can talk to anyone about anything, is a true friend, and is a skilled Rocket League player. Things I dislike about Reid: He steals Rocket goals that aren’t his.

Mike
Mike “Mikey” LoRusso (posthumously) - Mike is my cousin who passed away in 2015. I have spent lots of time thinking how I want to include and honor Mike as part of our day and chose to include him in my wedding party as the 12th groomsman. I am not religious, but find it particularly poetic that Matthias, the 12th apostle, was chosen by God to fill the void left by Judas. In that same way, many people leaned on Mike to fill a certain void in their lives. There are countless stories of Mikey positively impacting people he touched. Mike was a bright light in my life, and I have no doubt that light will be shining brilliantly on September 29th for me and Liza. Love you big guy.
